Yes, sparring equipment is mandatory for free sparring.

To ensure their own safety and that of their partners while performing drills and free sparring, and for insurance reasons. This is also why limit the type, style and brand of equipment allowed at ARCAN.

All students must wear a mouthguard, head gear, hand protection, feet protection, shin guards and groin protection (male).
